More gluten free pizza in the Boston area!
Stone Hearth Pizza has now started serving gluten free pizza and pasta at its three Boston area locations (Needham, Belmont, Somerville/Cambridge). The gluten free items are indicated right on the main menu itself. The pizza is thin crust -- they call it Neapolitan style. In addition to pizza and pasta dishes, they have some nice salads, a few appetizers and gluten free desserts on the menu. We tried the gluten free pizza with fresh mozarella the other week, and really enjoyed it.

Great blog. I've just added you to my list of 101 (now 105) GF Blogs. Keep up the good work.
Woohoo! I'm a Boston-area gf'er and didn't know about this -- thanks for the head's up and great blog!
Ooh, I can't wait to try this place. I love the Boynton in Worcester, but it's nice to know there are alternatives, especially closer to Boston. Thanks!

It's always fun to find a new restaurant with gluten-free pizza. They just keep popping up every where!
Hey rochelle -- Yes - i went to Stone Hearth, I wrote up a blog entry about it a few weeks back -- they actually glutened us (served us regular pasta instead of gluten free!!) the manager was very apologetic, and I've actually been back once.
The pizza was SO GOOD - the best gluten free kind I've had, I also love thin crust, so this was perfect.
I'm hoping to get to Nebo this week for a comparison!
To whom it may concern;
I am writing to inform you of our new Gluten free menu. About 4 yrs ago my sister Christine and I opened nebo restaurant at 90 N. Washington St. in Boston’s North End. Nebo is a traditional Italian restaurant offering dishes based on recipes that were passed down from our mother and grandmother. After being open for about a year, two of our closest friends were told they had Celiac disease. We then realized just how many people this disease has affected and the need for an alternative for their dining restrictions. Determined to serve our friends their favorites, we set upon making our menu available in a gluten free form. We are thrilled to say that we have now produced 90% of our menu with the same great taste as our regular menu. We don't think there has been an accomplishment that has brought us more pleasure. If you would like us to forward a copy of our Gluten free menu please send a menu request to nebofunctions@gmail.com .
Nana's Pizza in Everett now serves amazing Gluten Free Pizza (the original is great as well) We go every Friday night. They also have a nice dining room & beer&wine.
